PowerWorks Education Centre

Powerworks Energy Technology and Visitor Centre is located in Morwell in the heart of the Latrobe Region of Victoria.The centre operates throughout the year, educating visitors about the electricity industry in the Latrobe Valley and Victoria. GDF SUEZ Australian Energy supports this facility through joint ownership with the other Latrobe Valley generators.

As part of the learning experience Powerworks offers visitors the chance to see electricity in action through its interactive displays and site tours through the electricity generators.

Powerworks especially caters for school age groups tailoring each educational experience to the needs of the audience. Along with the interactive elements of the education centre Powerworks also has facilities to teach and present information.
