| Health and safety at Kwinana is the highest priority and is incorporated into the day to day culture of the plant. As part of IPR – GDF SUEZ Australia, Kwinana is committed to best practice in safety excellence and continual improvement in performance.
To achieve appropriate management systems and to ensure they are in place and working well appropriate checks have been adopted and put in place to oversee all activities. This includes the establishment of health and safety inspections, audits, policies and procedures. Effective communication channels and training programs are entrenched into the plant’s safe work culture. These efforts are underpinned by management support and encouragement with each individual being treated as the most valuable asset of the organisation. A strong emphasis is placed on the individual’s health with the promotion of a healthy lifestyle being part of the continuous drive for excellence in health and safety. |
