Part of this project will be to expand the wetlands area to provide increased habitat for the numerous aquatic and bird species that inhabit the reserve. The reserve was awarded International Power’s 2006 Flagship funding of $95,000. The funding will allow for the development of an enhanced education program, the design and construction of interpretive information shelters and signage to educate visitors on the history of the site and the native flora and fauna which inhabit the reserve. |
